JAAF Feeds JIACT-GK Children

he J. Amado Araneta Foundation is sponsoring a Feeding Program for wasted children, aged 3 to 10 years old, at its adopted community, the Julio Iglesias Araneta Center Tanay – Gawad Kalinga (JIACT – GK). One hundred children receive 1 supplementary meal per day, 5 days a week for 90 days, starting 31 May 2021.

The Feeding Program is aimed to ensure that each kid will have a full meal to improve their health and well-being. More families in JIACT-GK, like others in low-income communities all over the country, skip a meal a day to survive.

“Malaking tulong po ito sa mga pamilya dito sa JIACT. May dalawa akong anak na kasali sa Feeding. Payapa ang loob ko na kakain sila ng masustansyang pagkain sa susunod na mga araw,” Aling Lolita shared. The Feeding Program assures her and other parents that they have less to worry about when it comes to food for their children.
