JAAF iLEAP

Last 26 August 2022, the second batch of out-of-school youth (OSYs) second-chance learners graduated from their internship program from Pizza Hut. JAAF’s immersion Link for Enablers and Adapters Program (iLEAP) is a partnership program with USAID’s Opportunities 2.0 Program which supports systems in the Philippines to provide second-chance education to 180,000 out-of-school youth across 15 cities that lead to their successful employment and livelihoods. The enabler partner is Pizza Hut Philippines who immerses qualified OSYs for possible employment. This is part of the brand’s #EqualSliceForAll Program.

For batch 2, youth from Valenzuela City Joyce Ann Ravis and Christine Joyce Magdahong took part in immersion, finishing 5 days of training. Friday last week was a big day for both trainee-graduates. They get to meet Bb. Pilipinas 1st Runner-up, who is concurrently Bb. Pilipinas Pizza Hut, Nicole Budol. Also in the ceremonies were PPI President Chacha Junio, PPI VP for HR Rose Herrera, PPI Training Manager Al Guillermo, JAAF Executive Director Diane Romero, JAAF Program Officer May Ann Geronimo, USAID-O2 Valenzuela’s Mei Parbo.
